What is
a perfect man?
There
were only two perfect men Adam and Jesus.
|
|
"All
flesh is not the same; but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and
another of birds."
I Cor. 15:39 |
|
Adam was
made ruler over all earthly things...
...a little lower
than the angels.
"A
little lower" does not mean
a little less perfect. |
|
Perfecting a
nature does not
change a nature. There is
a variety
in perfection.

There are
distinct differences of each nature.
The highest grade
of mineral
is a little lower than the lowest grade of vegetable, because
in vegetable
there is life. |
|
There is
a great contrast between sinful
and restored mankind.
Perfect man
is not
a spiritual being. |
|
Jesus, being
a perfect man,
could keep
a perfect law.
|
|
Only a
perfect man
could give a
corresponding price
for a perfect man.
|
|
Jesus was not
a combination
of two natures.Twice,
Jesus experienced
a change of nature. |
"But when the
fullness of the time was come,
God sent forth his Son,
made of a woman,
made under the law."
Galatians 4:4 |
"And the Word
was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,
the glory as the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth."
John 1:14 |
|
Jesus gave
an equivalent
for what Adam lost.
"For such an high priest became
us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled,
separate from sinners,
and made higher than the heavens." Hebrews 7:26 |
|
"There
are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial;
but the glory
of the celestial
is one,
and the glory
of the terrestrial
is another."
I Corinthians 15:40
What is
a spirit being?
|
|
Spirit
beings
can be present,
yet invisible.
Elisha's Servant
saw Angels in Chariots
Spirit beings
can assume
human forms.
An Angel Appeared
to Gideon
|
|
Spirit beings
are glorious
and bright.
Saul of Tarsus
"At midday, O King, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the
sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me...."
Acts 26:13,14 |

Mortality
means
death is possible.
Immortality
means
death is impossible. There is
confusion on mortality
and immortality. Mortal life
is sustained by external elements. |
|
Only the
Divine Nature
is immortal.
The great mass
of mankind will always be mortal. Satan is to be destroyed,
which proves that angels are mortal.
Man being
mortal destroys the doctrine
of eternal torment. "The soul
that sinneth,
it shall die." |
|
God had a
right
to create Jesus higher than
the angels.
Justice
understood. |
|
Aspiration of Lucifer--
"How art thou
fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer,
son of the morning!
"How art thou cut down to the ground,
which didst weaken
the nations!
"For thou hast said
in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:
"I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides
of the north."
Isaiah 14:12,13 |

Hath not the potter power
over the clay?
The human
race are Gods children by creation the work of his hands. |

to the scenes of misery and woe, degradation and
sorrow that yet prevail on account of sin, and picture before your mental vision the glory
of the perfect earth.
Not a stain of
sin mars the harmony and peace of a perfect society; not a bitter thought, not an unkind
look or word; love, welling up from every heart, meets a kindred response in every other
heart, and benevolence marks every act.
There sickness shall be no more; not an ache nor a pain, nor any evidence of decay--not
even the fear of such things.
Think of all the
pictures of comparative health and beauty of human form and feature that you have ever
seen, and know that perfect humanity will be of still surpassing loveliness.
The inward purity
and mental and moral perfection will stamp and glorify every radiant countenance.
Such will earth's
society be; and weeping bereaved ones will have their tears all wiped away, when thus they
realize the resurrection work complete. Revelation 21:4 |
Man will be
absorbed
and enraptured with the glory on the human plane.
As God rejoices
in perfection,
so will it be
with man.

What is
Gods
plan for the
Christian church?
The Church
is being selected
for a purpose.
The church class
is chosen by
an individual trial and by individually overcoming. |
|
"Glorified"
signifies "Honored."

|
Called,
chosen,
and faithful.
|
|
The call
is conditional.
There is no
blending
of natures. |

to divine
is a reward.

Renewing your
minds a transforming work

therefore, brethren,
by the mercies
of God,
that ye present your bodies
a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service."
Romans 12:1 |

but be ye transformed

of God."

Spiritual
natures have a wider range of faculties
than the human.
|
|
We catch
only glimpses
of the divine
wisdom, power
and goodness.
|
|
A change of
nature does not cause
a loss of identity.
